FLCK Currently purchases food at retail prices due to not having
storage capacity to maintain bulk orders from retailers.
Our goal is to build a typical kitchen with living quarters on-site,
but what’s not typical is that we will add a large food pantry so we
can accept and store food from local wholesalers at a reduced cost.
Did you know, there are no Goodwill or Salvation Army stores in Los Cabos? When local residents want to purge unwanted items, we happily accept them. Those items may be your trash, but to the residents of the communities where our kitchens are located, they’re treasures. We take your unwanted stuff to our kitchens where local residents are able to pick up badly needed clothing, household goods, toiletries, and food. Many of the items donated to us are not suitable for usage in these communities. For this reason, we will also add a thrift store to our distribution center. The center will also feature a place for worship, classrooms, a basketball court, loading dock, administrative office, and parking. To reach this goal, FLCK needs $200,000 USD in donated funds. Please consider giving to this fund so we can reach this very important goal.
